Sea lions, snow monkeys, polar bears, and penguins aren’t the only reason visitors are attracted to the Central Park Zoo. Besides 130 fabulous animal species, the Zoo can boast an exciting NYC ‘hot spot’ – the Leaping Frog Café. Restaurant Associates will continue to be the foodservice provider for the expanded Café for the Wildlife Conservation Society, which manages the Central Park Zoo for the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.
A key objective of the Leaping Frog Café is to provide a kid-friendly, educational environment. Table tents at each table will provide “Did You Know?” facts about the food being served along with information about Central Park Zoo animals. Kids can purchase a value meal in a specially designed keepsake bag made exclusively for the Leaping Frog Café.
